Pop-Up Event: Iloilo Mega Book Fair 2025

Hey owlets! Guess what?

We recently participated in the 8th Iloilo Mega Book Fair! From April 11 to 13, we joined local authors, publishers, artists, and merchants in celebrating the spirit of creative works and writing. The event coincided with the 2025 Philippine National Literature Month and honored local writers from all over the Philippines.

This also marks the fifth event we've actively participated in this year!

We also soft-debuted four new candles at this event: Deadline, New Book Smell, Night Triumphant, and Satoru.

Deadline is our ode to writers, students, and last-minute procrastinators everywhere.

New Book Smell is our attempt to capture that "fresh-off-the-press" scent you get when you flip open a brand-new book.

Night Triumphant is our newest comfort character candle—and the first book character-themed candle in the shop. He’s inspired by a focal character from Sarah J. Maas’ widely popular romantasy series, A Court of Thorns and Roses.

Finally, our lotus candle, Satoru, is a petrichor-scented piece delicately hand-painted with mica colors. It’s another comfort character candle—this time inspired by Jujutsu Kaisen’s Gojo Satoru and the Buddhist motifs woven into his character and story.
